It’s Time To Live a Sober Powered Life

“I have been checking in A LOT on the app because I am really feeling great - I've never heard my own thoughts and actions reflected by others and it's had my jaw on the floor more then once. THANK YOU!!” -Dana

“Second meeting tonight and I am so grateful for this community you built. This is what I have been missing and looking for. Thank you” -NM

Why Living a Sober Powered Life?

Small Meetings

Our meetings are small (~30 people) so everyone who wants to share has the opportunity to. Don’t want to share? No problem! You are welcome to leave your camera off and participate in the chat.

Shame-Free Zone

While slips are obviously not encouraged, you are safe to share about it here without worrying about getting tough love in return. No matter what you’re going through, someone else can understand you. You are not alone. Perfect sobriety is not required.

True Accountability

Our community is small enough that you will get to know others and they will get to know you. We want you to remember we care about you when cravings or the fk its hit! Some of our members don’t drink because they don’t want to tell us about it!

Private and Safe

Connect from the privacy of your phone or use your computer if you’d prefer. It’s up to you. You can stay completely anonymous in the community if that helps you feel more comfortable.

Join Us at Your Own Risk… We May Even Support You in Your Dreams!

“This community is really having an impact on me. I had a drinking dream for the 1st time last night. I had a glass of wine in my hand and I was so close to giving in so I reached for my phone to post about it on the circle because I knew you guys could talk me out of it. Thanks! 😂😂😂” - Diane

Spaces based on your interests.

Join or leave spaces depending on what you need. If day one posts trigger you, then don’t join that space and you’ll never see them!

“This community just keeps getting better and better for me. The real connection and all the tools and ideas on sobriety are KEY for me. I would not be this far along without this community and the connections and people that make you feel VALUED.” -MB

“I appreciate your help getting sober. It worked! I’m happy and alcohol free thanks to you!” -AM

Living a Sober Powered Life has been recognized by Circle (the platform we host our community is on) as a Platinum Community. This means that we are in the top 10% of most engaged communities on Circle. People stay longer, remain active in the community, have conversations in the DMs, and attend more meetings than in most communities. This won’t be another group that you’ll join and ghost. We want to help you integrate into the group and become a cherished part of the community.

“I *never* thought I would be the type to join a sober community or go to meetings. I thought the advice you see in quit lit and other sobriety content out there that it's absolutely necessary to find community and connection...I firmly believed it didn't apply to me and I was fine doing it alone. I was almost a year and a half sober before I joined this community and I so badly wish I had joined sooner. I'm surprised but so grateful that I immediately felt so connected to this community and the connection continues to grow. I've been a member of Living a Sober Powered Life for almost 6 months now and the group meetings are a pillar of my sobriety.”

FAQS

  • Is this membership just for women?

Nope! This is for everyone. My audience is about 75% women and the membership reflects that split. Some of my most active members are men, and there are men in our meetings.

  • Is everyone really young?

We have had members in their 20’s all the way up to members in their 80’s. Whatever your age is, you will find others in the group like you.

  • Who's running these meetings?

If you look at the schedule above, I run all the meetings except the ones in blue. Meetings in blue are run by either Laura from @yoursoberpal, RJ from @untappedkeg, or one of our community members.

  • How big are the meetings?

We typically have 10-20 people in our meetings. The community will be closed when we reach a certain amount of ultimate members, and reopened again when there are spaces available.

  • Can I stay anonymous?

Absolutely. Circle allows you to customize your own profile. Feel free to use a screenname and whatever profile image you’d like (we love pets here). You can attend meetings with your camera off too if that helps you feel more comfortable.

  • What if I'm not very tech-savvy?

Circle is pretty easy to navigate and can be done on your computer, on your phone via the internet, or inside an app on your phone. It looks similar to Facebook, so there isn’t a learning curve. Adding the premium podcast to your podcasting app is done with 1 click from your sign up email. I have a comprehensive FAQ doc in the community explaining everything too

  • Where does the money go?

This membership allowed me to hire some help! I have an assistant and I’ve hired a scientific consultant to help me with research for my podcast. Getting help has greatly reduced my stress levels, so thank you!

  • Is this like your podcast?

Yes and no. This is not group coaching and I do not lecture during these meetings. This is a support community. I make short podcast episodes on a members-only feed when questions come in. There’s a form to submit your questions. I also release monthly brain booster which can feel similar to my podcast.

  • What is your refund policy?

I do not offer refunds, but you can easily cancel your membership at any time in Circle (where you sign up). Members are responsible for managing their subscriptions.
