I’m Gill (pronounced Jill)

I share a simple, no BS approach to quitting drinking and learning how to cope with stress, overwhelm and emotions. I’m here to tell you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.

I used to be the most dramatic, attention-seeking, immature, overwhelmed, angry person who took everything personally. I always felt like my emotions were out of control, and drinking helped reduce the intensity so I could “deal with it” lol… I fought to gain control of my drinking and learn how to moderate for 5 long years before I finally accepted I can’t change the way I drink.

In my weekly email, I share how I cope with things in real time and advice on how I have not only achieved 5 years of sobriety, but learned to stay calm, self-regulate, and create a life that I am thrilled to live.
